DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD

JANUARY 23, 2008

 

Board members present: Chris Lekberg, John Peterson, Alisa Cutter, Phyllis Reed. There is one board vacancy.

 

The meeting was opened at 9:05 pm.

 

Deliberations #4910

Motion by Peterson/Reed to approve the conditional use permit for Stephen Scott #4910 to change the use of a residential parcel in the Neighborhood Residential zone to do automotive repair with the following conditions:

• The business will be for light automotive repair of passenger vehicles and pick-up trucks.
• There will be a limit of no more than three cars being worked on at a time.
• This is permitted for a part time business of no more than 30 hours a week. If the applicant plans of doing business full time, he must come back to the Board for a review of the conditional use permit.
• There will be no storage of hazardous materials on site.
• Disposal of hazardous materials will be in a legal manner of containment and recycling where possible.

 

Motion passed unanimously.

 

Deliberations #4946

Motion by Cutter/Peterson to approve the conditional use permit #4946 for Larry and RoseAnn Johnson to convert the currently vacant second floor space into one three bedroom dwelling unit to be used as the applicant's primary residence. Motion passed unanimously.  

 

Being no further business, the meeting closed at 8:05 pm.
