BRANDON DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD MEETING MAY 28, 2008 Board members present: Chris Lekberg, John Peterson, Samantha Stone and Phyllis Reed. Alisa Cutter was absent. Also present: Janet Mondlak, Recording Secretary The Board entered deliberations: Quenneville #4983 Motion by Peterson/Lekberg to grant a conditional use permit #3983 to Elizabeth & Andrew Quenneville to operate a registered home daycare business providing care for more than ten full time children with the following condition: That the property be in compliance with state regulations for a day care facility. Passed unanimously Young #4985 Motion by Reed/ Peterson to grant variance #3985 to Janie Chester Young to construct a 24' x 30' two-car garage with storage below directly on the property line failed on a vote of 0-4. The variance is denied. The Board feels that there are other options for the applicant to pursue to build a garage which might lessen the degree of nonconformity.
