BRANDON DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD MEETING

JULY 23, 2008

Present at the meeting: Alisa Cutter, Samantha Stone, Phyllis Reed, and Phyllis Aitchison.

The meeting opened at 7:30 pm.

Deliberations

#5018 McKernon Group/ Sawyer's Inn DBA Lilac Inn

Motion by Reed/ Stone to approve the application for #5018 for a conditional use to build three 24' x 36' buildings behind the Lilac Inn to expand the total number of guest rooms by six with two guest rooms in each new building and reconfigure and expand the current number of parking spaces with the following conditions:

Any new lighting on buildings or for the parking lot will be motion-sensored, low light fluorescent, downward lit and facing away from adjacent properties.

Parking will be restricted to existing and planned parking spaces. There will be no parking on adjacent driveways. There must always be access to the buildings for emergency vehicles.

As per the letter dated June 25, 2008 from Tom Schmelzenbach, Public Works Superintendent, all issues associated with the actual physical connection to the municipal system, specifically as related to multiple connections to private laterals, need to be proven compliant before construction.

Any and all conditions in existing permits are still in effect.

Motion passed unanimously.

Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8 pm.
