Brandon Board of Liquor Commissioners Meeting

January 19, 2009

NOTE:  These are unapproved minutes, subject to amendment and/or approval at the subsequent board meeting.

In Attendance: Bill Hatch, Richard Baker, Bruce Brown, Mitch Pearl, Kellie Patten

Also in Attendance:  Keith Arlund, Anna Scheck, Chris Brickell, Tom Schmelzenbach, Lee Kahrs, Bob Kilpeck

The meeting was called to order at 10:03PM by Chair  Bill Hatch. 

1.  Call to order

a)  Agenda

 Motion by Kellie Patten/Bruce Brown to approve the agenda as written.  The motion passed unanimously - 4 to zero.

2.  Consider Liquor License/Tobacco Application Request for 2009

a. Dr. Lightning's Wine & Spirits

b. Churchill House Inn - Lord & Hopkins, Inc.

Motion by Richard Baker/Kellie Patten to approve the liquor licenses for Dr. Lightning's Wine and Spirits, and Churchill House Inn Lord & Hopkins, Inc.  The motion passed unanimously - 4 to zero. 

Richard Baker stated that although the town does not receive any revenues for the Tobacco licenses, the state is now requiring the town to sign off on those licenses as well.   

3.  Adjournment

Motion by Kellie Patten/Bruce Brown to adjourn the Board of Liquor Commissioners' meeting at 10:05PM to convene as the Board of Sewer Commissioners.  The motion passed unanimously - 4 to zero.
