The meeting was called to order at 8:01PM by Chair – Bill Hatch.
1. Call to order
a) Agenda
Motion by Bruce Brown/Mitch Pearl to approve the agenda as written. The motion passed unanimously – 3 to zero.
2) Consider Liquor License/Tobacco Application Request for 2009
a) Request to Cater Malt & Vinous Beverage & Spirituous Liquors – Café Provence
Motion by Bruce Brown/Mitch Pearl to approve a liquor license for Café Provence for a catering event to be held on October 2nd. The motion passed unanimously – 3 to zero.
Richard Baker provided a friendly amendment indicating approval of the motion be subject to the event being consistent with the town's regulations, as the event will be held in the town hall. Keith Arlund stated the fundraiser is consistent with the town's regulations.
3. Old/Other Business
Richard Baker noted it would be nice if the state would create a new class of licenses so that an entity does not need to come before the Board for every off-site catering request.
4. Adjournment
Motion by Richard Baker/Bruce Brown to adjourn as the Board of Liquor Commissioners' meeting at 8:04PM. The motion passed unanimously – 3 to zero.
