The meeting was called to order at 7:59PM by Chair – Bill Hatch.
1. Call to order
a) Agenda
Motion by Mitch Pearl/Kellie Patten to approve the agenda as written. The motion passed unanimously – 4 to zero.
2. Consent Agenda
a) Minutes – Liquor Commissioners' Meeting of August 31, 2009
Motion by Bruce Brown/Mitch Pearl to approve the minutes of the August 31, 2009 Liquor Commissioners' Meeting. The motion passed unanimously – 4 to zero.
3. Consider Liquor License/Tobacco Application Request for 2009
a) Request to Cater Malt & Vinous Beverage & Spirituous Liquors – Café Provence
Motion by Mitch Pearl/Kellie Patten to approve a liquor license for a catering event for Café Provence for the Brandon Artist Guild's Stars auction on October 10th. The motion passed unanimously – 4 to zero.
Kellie Patten noted this event complies with the rules noted within the policy.
3. Old/Other Business
Richard Baker noted again that it would be nice if the state would create a new class of licenses so that an entity does not need to come before the board for every off-site catering request.
4. Adjournment
Motion by Richard Baker/Kellie Patten to adjourn as the Board of Liquor Commissioners' meeting at 8:01PM to reconvene as the Select Board. The motion passed unanimously – 4 to zero.
