Business Hours for Holders of Third Class Licenses Ordinance

1.   INTENT

          It is the intent of this Ordinance to promote the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

2.   AUTHORITY TO ADOPT

          This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to 24 VSA 1971.

3.   SCOPE

          Holders of Third Class licenses as defined in Title 7 VSA Section 2, will observe the following hours in which they conduct their business:

     A.   Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 12 midnight last call; 12:30 a.m. - tables cleared and establishment closed to the public.

     B.   Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 1:00 a.m. last call; 1:30 a.m. - tables cleared and establishment closed to the public.

4.   ENFORCEMENT

          Any establishment violating any of the foregoing provisions of this Ordinance will be prosecuted and reported to the Liquor Control Board of the State of Vermont.

5.        This Ordinance shall take effect sixty (60) days after adoption by the Board of Selectmen, Brandon, Vermont.
