NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE THE BRANDON DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD The Brandon Development Review Board will meet on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Brandon Senior Citizen's Center to consider the following: To open a public hearing for Applicant and Landowner: Michael and Charlotte Frankiewicz. Requested Use: To construct an 8' by 18' mudroom addition to the existing three bedroom single family residence and to construct a 30' x 26' two car detached garage located at 250 Newton Rd. The property is located in an area designated by the National Flood Insurance Program as being in Zone AO. Accordingly, the proposal is subject to Section 802 of the Brandon Land Use Ordinance, the section that specifically related to Development in Flood Hazard Areas. This application will need a Conditional Use Permit in order to be permitted. Proposed Location: 250 Newton Rd. Application #5238; tax map: 16-20-04.02 To open a public hearing for Applicant and Landowner: Chad Scarborough. Requested Use: To construct a 16' x 25' lean-to wood shed addition to the south side of the existing single family residence which does not meet setback requirements. The parcel is in the Aquifer District and the setback requirement is 30' for structures from other lot lines. This requires a variance for setback requirements in order to be permitted, under Section 301 of the Brandon Land Use Ordinance. Proposed Location: 182 Deer Run Rd. Application #5242; (tax map: 15-22-25) To open a public hearing for Applicant: Vicki Forrest and Landowner: Jennifer Newton. Requested Use: To change the nature or intensity of the current use of the parcel of land from residential use to residential and agricultural uses. This parcel is in the Neighborhood Residential District and pursuant to Section 304(c) of the Brandon Land Use Ordinance (BLUO) Agricultural Use in the Neighborhood Residential District requires a Conditional Use Permit. Proposed Location: 74 Carver Street. Application: #5249; (tax map: 25-50-82.0) To open a public hearing for Appellant and Landowner: Liza Myers. Appeal: To hear an appeal to the Zoning Administrator's decision to issue an administrative decision that the installation of a 64 square foot painting on the exterior of the building requires a sign permit and that it be removed per Section 407 of the Brandon Land Use Ordinance. Proposed Location: 22 Center Street. Application #5243; Tax Map #22-51-26 Immediately following these hearings, the board will discuss and take action on any other items presented and possibly deliberate on open cases before them as well as conduct routine business.
